All our puppies are raised in specially selected correctional facilities.

At approximately seven weeks old, each Elite Detection K9 puppy is taken to live at a correctional facility under the responsibility of a single inmate or a team of two to three inmates. During this time, inmates provide the puppy with a safe environment, love and nurturing, socialization experiences, obedience and progressive play training. At 12-15 months, the puppies are returned to us, where they begin their scent education and training.
